What if your voice could be unapologetic?

A place to explore voice, identity, and embodied expression —
without shrinking.

Drag Out Your Voice is an ongoing Vocal Training membership for established and aspiring artists, activists, and performers, who feel called to a life of embodied vocal self-expression.
It is available both online and in Downtown Toronto.
-
We train technique.
-
We build community.
-
We experiment.
-
We perform.
-
And sometimes the learning comes from unlearning.
This is not about becoming louder.
It’s about becoming more yourself.

I grew up learning to compartmentalize myself for other peoples' comfort.
I don’t build spaces like that.
Drag Out Your Voice exists because I know what voice erasure feels like.
This is a place where our voices can grow together.

Testimonials

Before You Join
I’ve never done drag. Is this still for me? Yes. Drag is a tool, not a requirement. You can show up in full glam or in sweatpants. This space is about voice, not costume.
What if I miss live sessions? Sessions are recorded. You can move at your own pace. Consistency matters. Perfection does not.
How much one-on-one attention is there? This is a hybrid (group & 1-1) space. You’ll have access to weekly office hours, discounted private coachings, and structured peer support.
I’ve trained before. Will this feel basic? No. We work with technique, mindset, embodiment, and performance. Our leaders are pedagogists and forward thinking trans educators with post graduate level qualifications. You will meet the work where you are.
Is this therapy? No. Drag Out Your Voice explores identity and expression. It is not a clinical program. Boundaries are respected, and we have mental health resources available for anyone who should need them. This is an artistic and community space.
